I served as Creative Director for Studio 4/4, a Seattle‑based event promotion group, overseeing the visual direction for live music and nightlife events across a multi‑year engagement. My role focused on conceptualizing and executing a cohesive visual system that could scale across static artwork, motion graphics, and environmental production assets while remaining flexible enough to adapt to different artists, venues, and event formats.
The work began by establishing a clear creative framework that balanced Studio 4/4’s underground music identity with the practical demands of event promotion. Each campaign required artwork that could function independently while still reinforcing a consistent visual voice across digital promotion, social media, and physical environments.
I designed core visual assets that translated seamlessly into motion, ensuring typography, composition, and graphic language remained legible and impactful across formats. Environmental production artwork was developed in parallel, allowing the visual identity to extend into physical spaces and reinforce the event experience beyond screens.
The final body of work established a scalable visual system that supported Studio 4/4’s event programming while maintaining a recognizable creative identity across platforms. By designing with motion and environment in mind from the outset, the artwork remained consistent as it moved between promotional channels and live event contexts.
This project reflects my approach to creative direction within music and entertainment: building flexible systems, maintaining visual cohesion across mediums, and designing artwork that enhances both promotion and the live experience itself.
