What Did I Do?

As a motion designer on the Space Jam 2 Experience Installation, I contributed to the creation of custom video content designed to play across a eleven-screen setup, at three different locations. The challenge was to ensure that each screen worked both independently and as part of a larger, synchronized visual system. Working under the creative direction of Twentyfour7 Agency, we developed animations that amplified the energy and visual language of the film.

I focused on crafting motion sequences that could scale across multiple resolutions while maintaining visual continuity and impact. Each animation was designed with synchronization in mind, allowing content to flow seamlessly across the full installation without breaking narrative or rhythm. This required careful attention to timing, composition, and spatial awareness across all screens.

All motion content was created in-house by the motion design team, allowing for tight creative control and iteration. Through collaboration and refinement, we delivered a cohesive experiential piece that translated the excitement of Space Jam 2 into a bold, immersive visual environment for audiences.

Experiential motion design is about scale, rhythm, and creating moments that surround the viewer.

Working under strict guidelines from both AT&T and Warner Brothers, our team utilized real cinema assets from the movie to create new animations and the movie to life within the constraints of a flagship retail communications store.

The final installation delivered a dynamic, immersive experience that captured the energy of Space Jam 2 across a large-format, multi-screen environment. The synchronized visuals transformed the space into an engaging promotional moment that drew attention and reinforced the film’s playful, high-energy tone.

By designing content that worked cohesively across nine screens, the installation maintained clarity and visual impact from multiple viewing angles. The flexibility of the motion system ensured consistency across varied resolutions while preserving the cinematic feel of the content.

Ultimately, the project demonstrated the power of motion design within experiential environments. The installation supported AT&T’s promotional efforts by creating a memorable, visually striking experience that connected audiences with the film in a bold and immersive way.
